Dick Hubbard

Dick Hubbard has been lampooned for his recent actions and speech against the "Boobs on Bikes" parade. He his mocked that his actions of speaking out against it attracted more people to it.

So what should he have done people? Should he have just ignored it? If he felt it was wrong and offensive - should he not be able to speak his mind? Since when is it better for us not to act on our conscience? Should we mock this man for doing what he thought was right?

What kind of man knows something is wrong and is afraid to say so? That man is no man. This lampooning is just an attempt to silence and embarass those holding to traditional morality. I say the mayor did right.

Smacking

I wonder why a government that won't even pay back money it stole, can tell parents with a straight face what is best for their children. If they can't act in a moral way in such a big issue - what makes them think they know how children should be brought up?
